You know your company’s words matter

Let’s give them the attention they deserve

Many businesses struggle with writing. The slick new website that's all designed doesn't launch because the content seems to keep floating from one inbox to the next. The blog series stalls after two posts because there isn't time to write the third, fourth or fifth. Social media channels sit empty because no one can think of interesting things to say. That's where I come in.

I have a life-long passion for writing (seriously, I started my first novel at the age of nine) and over 20 years of communications experience with organizations including General Motors, Research In Motion, Brock University, destination marketing organizations, some of Niagara's largest wineries and more. I tap into my love for words and my proven skills and strengths to help companies tell their stories.

Simply put, I take care of the words, giving my clients more time to  focus on what they do best to grow their business.

Before long, that website is actually live. Those blog posts move magically from the "to-do" list to the "TA-DA It’s-all-done!" list. Social media posts become a breeze because they're written in advance. Your story is being heard, generating interest and creating new opportunities for growth.

Q & A

What kind of Experience do you have?

After working in a variety of communications positions with companies including General Motors of Canada, Research In Motion and Brock University, I spent 5 years managing content for a Niagara-based marketing firm, giving me the opportunity to work with a number of tourism organizations, wineries, not-for-profit organizations and small businesses. In 2017, I decided to leverage the skills and experience I’d developed over two decades of communications work to launch Virginia Lewis Communications. Scroll down to my Clients section to see some of the organizations I’ve worked with since then.

How are you going to know what we want to say?

Getting a solid understanding of your organization and its unique needs is the first step in developing your story. From there, we will develop a list of deliverables and a review process to ensure that any communications materials I develop capture your organization's voice exactly as you wish.

What if we need more than words?

I'm fortunate to have a talented circle of contacts that includes graphic designers, video producers, web designers and more. If your project needs additional communications support, I'd be happy to make some introductions and I love to collaborate with other creatives.

Can i see some samples of your work?

Absolutely! I'd love to share some work samples with you. To ensure I provide examples from my portfolio that are most relevant to your industry, please tell me a little bit about yourself through the Contact form and I will connect with you soon.

Can't I just see some of your work without having to contact you first?

Absolutely! My Virginia Lewis Communications Facebook page has several links to blog posts that I’ve written. You can find it here.

What should I do Next if I Have a project I'd like some help with?

Please use the Contact form to reach out and I will be in touch as quickly as I can. From there, we can schedule a face-to-face meeting or phone call to discuss next steps. I look forward to meeting you! I would also be happy to provide some references that you can contact if you'd like to learn a little bit more about what it's like to work with me prior to setting up an initial meeting.
